Starting today, Starbucks customers in the U.S. and Canada can bring their own clean cups when ordering in the store, in the drive-thru, or through the Starbucks app. This action encourages the use of reusable cups and supports Starbucks’ goal to cut waste by 50% until 2030. Starbucks is the first national coffeehouse in the U.S. to permit personal cups for mobile orders, and in Canada, this option is available for all drinks and sizes. The company aims to shift towards reusables and away from single-use cups, making it easy for customers to bring their own ceramic cups. This initiative follows a successful test in Colorado and is part of Starbucks’ effort to promote reusable cup options.
